Funding and Support

E-mailPrint

The Botanic Garden and Parks Authority receives its funding primarily from the State Government of Western Australia. Significant revenue is also generated through various events, leases and licenses in place and through some important fee-for-service arrangements undertaken by the Authority.

Revenue from State Government and that self-generated by the Authority through commercial arrangements is supported by generous donations from individuals, grants from a variety of organisations and sponsorship from corporations. This support is directed towards maintaining our high standard of horticultural and conservation practices, scientific research, visitor facilities and maintaining significant cultural and memorial sites.

To support Kings Park and Botanic Garden and/or Bold Park, you are invited to consider making a donation or bequeath in your will. Read more about providing support or contact us.

The Botanic Garden and Parks Authority extends its most sincere appreciation to all of its supporters, volunteers, sponsors, donors and partners and specifically thanks and acknowledges the many organisations listed below for their generous support.
