As a State Government agency, the Authority must adhere to all other relevant State and Commonwealth legislation, such as (but not limited to) the Bush Fires Act 1954, Soil and Land Conservation Act 1945, Wildlife Conservation Act 1950, Aboriginal Heritage Act 1972, Road Traffic Act 1974, Dog Act 1976, Litter Act 1979 and the Biodiversity Conservation Act 2000.
