Fremantle musicians Xave Brown and his cousin Caitlyn Dethridge are set to rock the Kings Park Festival on the 19th September as part of the Live Santos Series on Sundays.

Xave BrownFor over 11 years these fine musicians have been wooing audiences with their breathtaking talent and contemporary sound easily recognisable by their layers of rhythm, intricate finger picking, and their one of a kind vocals.

Xave has come a long way from his humble beginnings in the sandy beach town of Denmark, to play alongside some of Australia’s most talented musicians including Paul Kelly, The John Butler Trio, Xavier Rudd, Carus, Nathan Gaunt, Andrew Winton and Snowman.

Now based in Fremantle, Xave is a full time musician who is passionate about pursuing his career in music, while Caitlyn, who is the backup vocalist for Xave Brown has grown up in the culturally diverse port city, which she says has fed her passion for music over the years.

Xave Brown is in the midst of working on a third album, which is due to be released mid way through next year.

They are a regular feature on the WA music circuit around Perth and the South West and can be seen on Sunday 19th September in the Botanic Garden from 10.30 am -12.30 pm, as part of the Santos Live Sunday Series.
