Rio Tinto Naturescape Kings Park will be open 9.00 am - 4.00 pm, Tuesday to Sunday from Friday 2 March 2012.
The plants and wildlife in Rio Tinto Naturescape Kings Park have enjoyed a well-earned rest during the heat of February and are now ready for visitors.
When the gates to Rio Tinto Naturescape Kings Park re-open on Friday 2 March, visitors will be able to view new art installations inspired by solar energy in the Illyarie community shelter and search for new tadpoles released into the water bodies.
There are important conditions of entry when visiting this area and we encourage you to plan your visit.
Rio Tinto Naturescape Kings Park is closed on Mondays, when the daily Fire Danger Rating is ‘very high’ or above and when a Total Fire Ban is declared for Perth. Please refer to our homepage for closure information.
Rio Tinto Naturescape is not a playground, but an environmental learning and discovery area. It is set in natural bush and encourages a sense of adventure and connection to nature for children. There are many places to explore and lots of fun things to do.
