Kings Park and Botanic Garden has won silver in the Major Tourist Attraction category at the 2012 Perth Airport WA Tourism Awards.
Kings Park and Botanic Garden took out second place to gold medallist, Rottnest Island, among an impressive and competitive field of Western Australia’s premier tourist attractions including Fremantle Prison, Perth Zoo and The Bell Tower.
Over 800 guests attended the Perth Airport WA Tourism Awards Gala Dinner held on 10 November at Crown Perth casino. The event commemorated 40 years of tourism excellence and highlighted the many extraordinary experiences that the Western Australian tourism industry has to offer thanks to the professionalism and passion of the state’s tourism operators.
