From 8.00 - 9.00 pm on Saturday 29 March all lights, not directly related to public safety and security, in Kings Park will be turned off for Earth Hour 2008.
The Botanic Gardens and Parks Authority is a leading conservation organisation and is proud to participate in Earth Hour 2008, the global campaign to raise awareness about climate change and the need to reduce greenhouse gas emissions.
For one hour (8pm to 9pm) on Saturday 29 March, Kings Park and Botanic Garden will turn off any lighting that is not directly related to public safety and security.
