It is official - the Kings Park Lights can shine again!

With the community's best interest in mind, the lights illuminating the magnificent trees along Fraser Avenue in Kings Park were turned off in June 2008 due to an energy crisis in Perth.
On Monday 29 September the lights will be switched on again, in recognition of Telethon which is being held over the weekend of 4 and 5 October. The colour theme for Telethon is blue and the lights will remain on until Sunday 5 October.
The Kings Park Lights are jointly sponsored by Channel 7 and Synergy and illuminate the lemon-scented gums (Corymbia citriodora) lining Fraser Avenue on special occasions.
