The attached photo, taken early December shows the very early leaf buds emerging. This is occurring within the lower canopy and also at the highest points.
Current expectations are that the leaves will be visible sometime between mid January, to early February, with the timing depending on weather conditions. This is a good sign that the tree is settling in to its new home.
