Kings Park offers a relaxing family location to enjoy New Years Eve and view the fireworks taking place at Gloucester Park in East Perth at midnight.
The Botanic Gardens and Parks Authority promotes a smoke-free, alcohol-free and glass-free venue. A total fire ban is in place for the day, which means that sparklers and portable barbeques are not permitted.
There will be no parking along Fraser Avenue from 6.00 am on New Years Eve. Fraser Avenue is then closed to all vehicles on New Years Eve from 8.00 pm to 1.00 am, New Years Day.
Access to Kings Park during this time is via Saw Avenue from Thomas Road in Subiaco or Poole Ave from Winthrop Avenue in Crawley. View map...
