Fraser Avenue Entry Only - No Exit

E-mailPrint

Due to roadworks in Kings Park and Botanic Garden, Fraser Avenue is currently closed to all traffic south of the intersection with the access road to the main carpark.

Vehicle access from Fraser Avenue into the park is via a temporary one way road system behind the restaurant precinct (entry only) and all traffic needs to exit the park via Saw Avenue, Poole Avenue or Park Avenue.

These changed conditions will remain in place until Christmas, after which the upgraded access road will be opened to two way traffic.

Please note that all businesses in the park will remain open.

Transperth services will not enter Fraser Avenue during this period but will stop on Kings Park Road at the stop opposite Havelock Street. Visitors using public transport can walk into the park from Kings Park Road.

Taxi Services, Perth Tram, Perth City Sightseeing, and all other coach services will continue to enter Fraser Avenue and will exit the park via Saw Avenue.

Your co-operation during these works is very much appreciated. To ensure your safety, please follow all directional signage. The Botanic Gardens and Parks Authority sincerely apologises for any inconvenience caused.

These roadworks are part of improvements planned for the Fraser Avenue Ceremonial Walk project. Read more about the project...
