Kings Park and Botanic Garden blossomed with all the colours of a Western Australian Spring this September. Over 500,000 visitors experienced the Kings Park Festival, a month long celebration of the environmental, horticultural, recreational ceremonial, and culture and heritage of this very special place.
The annual Kings Park Festival has just celebrated its second year in the new and exciting month long format. Building on the previous 43 year tradition of the Wildflower Festival, the 2008 Kings Park Festival had something for everyone with a vast myriad of spectacular events and activities that appealed to all ages and interests.
The Kings Park Festival attracted gardening enthusiasts, families, school students, artists, seniors and fashion lovers in their droves, underlining the fact that Kings Park and Botanic Garden was definitely the place to be in September.
