Dad's Big Day Out

We all know finding the right gift for dad is tough. This Father’s Day give him a day out with the family that he’ll look back on fondly for years to come.

Father's DayPack a delicious picnic, grab a rug and head up to Kings Park and Botanic Garden for Dad’s Big Day as part of this year's Kings Park Festival.

With free family friendly entertainment kicking off at 10.00 am in the Botanic Garden, dad and mum can enjoy the city and river views while the kids wear themselves out on the rolling lawns.

What's On?

Take in the family theatre show featuring the Adorable Florables with the first show at 10.00 am in the theatre tent.

Enjoy Live Music on the main stage from the Gumnut Stompers, Ochre and the Chameleon Brass Band which will resonate throughout the park while you spend valuable together time with your family.

Groove with the WASAMBA drum beat of twenty drummers extraordinaire and the Ozmosis Street Band that will be roving around the gardens. Sing-a-long with Captain Cleanup and watch the expression on your children’s faces when they see the vibrant and colourful EMPRESS Stiltdancers!

This fun filled free family day from 10.00 am - 5.00 pm is part of the Kings Park Festival with entry by gold coin donation, which supports the conservation and enhancement of Kings Park. Catering will be available on site and free parking is available on Lovekin Drive and May Drive.
