Kings Park and Botanic Garden would like to acknowledge Earth Hour 2010, the global campaign to raise awareness about climate change and the need to reduce greenhouse gas emissions.
Hundreds of millions of people and iconic landmarks in over 88 countries will be turning off their lights for one hour between 8.30 pm and 9.30 pm on Saturday 27 March. The Botanic Gardens and Parks Authority is a leading conservation organisation and is proud to participate in this important event. All lights not directly related to a concert performance, public safety and security in Kings Park and Botanic Garden will be turned off during Earth Hour 2010.
