As Bold Park is primarily a bushland conservation area that offers a taste of a wilderness experience close to Perth, the park is largely undeveloped. The Western Australian Ecology Centre houses the park's administration offices as well as a large meeting room, the Tamala Room, which is available for hire for workshops and community meetings. In the same precinct, the historic Perry House is home to the Wildflower Society of WA and the adjacent Peregrine House is the office from which Birds Australia WA conducts its activities.
Bold Park also boasts the highest natural point on the Swan Coastal Plain in the metropolitan area, Reabold Hill, where a raised boardwalk through the bushland to a viewing platform at the summit offer great 360 degree views over Perth.
There are a number of car parks around Bold Park that provide access to the network of walk trails within.
