To protect the parks and the infrastructure, no equipment can be staked into the ground, nailed, hung or attached to any structure or trees. Any equipment or furniture must be freestanding.
The use of portable chairs and tables is permitted provided they only remain in place for the duration of the function and they are carried to the function venue by hand (vehicles are not permitted on lawn areas).
The Authority does not permit structures such as shade cloths, tents, gazebos and market umbrellas. The use of self weighted marquees are restricted to certain areas and require a site meeting with Authority staff. Contact the Bookings Officer for more information.
A 15 amp power outlet is available at some sites and provided free of charge. Please check the output of your electrical equipment and ensure the equipment is in very good working order prior to your event. Generators are not permitted in the park without written permission. Musical instruments, battery powered amplifiers and digital music players may be operated provided they do not offend other visitors with excessive noise.
Bucking bulls, animal farms, bouncy castles, trackless trains, bubble machine, releasing of helium balloons or butterflies is strictly prohibited in Kings Park. Refer to the Conditions of Use for more information.
The Authority is unable to reserve any parking area. Catering vans and delivery vehicles are not permitted to leave the road or parking areas, stop or park in No Parking or No Stopping zones.
