Kings Park and Botanic Garden
Offering incomparable views of Perth City, the Swan River and in a unique urban bushland setting, Kings Park and Botanic Garden is an ideal venue for your film or photographic shoot.

Filming and photography is not permitted on the Lotterywest Federation Walkway. Permission must be sought from the Returned and Services League of Australia WA Branch Inc. to conduct filming or photography in the State War Memorial precinct (including the Whispering Wall and the Flame of Remembrance), with notification forwarded to the Authority.
The Botanic Garden may be unavailable during the Summer Events season from November to April. If an area has been fenced off for a performance or other event you cannot enter this area.
Due to the sensitive nature of bushland, please remain on pathways and grassed areas at all times.
The Authority cannot reserve parking. Vehicles are not permitted to leave the road or parking areas; stop or park in No Parking or No Standing zones.
The organiser is booking a venue or area in a public space, open 24 hours a day, seven days a week. While the Authority endeavours to ensure that the area or venue is in the same condition as at the time of booking, there can be events, works or maintenance required that are outside of our control. It is the responsibility of the applicant to ensure suitability of the location prior to the shoot.
Students (school, TAFE or University) are not required to pay a fee but must make a booking giving all specific details and the Botanic Gardens and Parks Authority must be acknowledged in the credits.
Bold Park
As a natural high point on the Swan Coastal Plain, Reabold Hill in Bold Park provides spectacular views of the coast, the city and across the Darling Scarp.
