Click image for Botanic Garden map The Water Garden was refurbished in 1998 to reflect a natural stream through the Darling Scarp and to provide an ideal location for people to gather and enjoy this area within the State's Botanic Garden.
The Water Garden Pavilion overlooks a tumbling stream and tranquil pond and is connected by walkways that lead from the Pioneer Women's Memorial Fountain and the western end of the Lotterywest Federation Walkway. The surrounding undulating lawn area is shaded by mature eucalypts.
It is an ideal venue for small weddings and film and photography.
Please note that this venue is not recommended for catered functions or functions with group members with limited mobility, due to lack of vehicle access. All catering and function infrastructure needs to be carried manually to the venue site.
