Kaarta Gar-up Lookout offers one of Kings Park's most magnificent views, which incorporates both the city skyline and the Swan River.
The Aboriginal people use the words Kaarta Gar-up for Mount Eliza, 'kaarta' meaning hill or head, 'gar-up' meaning place of water. Aboriginal people have visited Kaarta Gar-up for over 40,000 years.
