smap_botgardens.gifClick image for Botanic Garden map In 1996 Peppermint Lawn was created to meet increased public demand for grassed areas and passive recreation - named for the Peppermint Trees (Agonis flexuosa) in the area.

This delightful, shaded area is located in the centre of the Botanic Garden with a view to the Pioneer Women's ornamental lake and fountains.

This venue is particularly suited for weddings, social and family functions, community groups, corporate functions and film and photography.
