Planting in this area is representative of the 'Bush Garden' style of landscaping, popular in Western Australia during the 1960s and 1970s.
Surrounded by Sheoak trees, this shaded grassed area is located near Zamia Cafe, play equipment and toilets. Visitors often enjoy a walk up the Broadwalk vista to climb the DNA tower. During the Outdoor Cinema season (December - March), this area is often alive with activity.
