No booking approval is required for private individuals seeking to visit Kings Park and Botanic Garden or Bold Park for activities such as jogging.
All organised sporting events or commercial fitness activities require permission in writing from the Botanic Gardens and Parks Authority.

Organisers are required to comply with Conditions of Use and the Botanic Gardens and Parks Regulations 1999. Breach of regulations may incur an infringement and penalties will be applied. In particular, the following regulations apply:
Part 5, 27. Unauthorised trading
(2) A person must not, without permission, on the designated land provide any service or conduct any business or activity for fee or reward.
Part 5, 30. Sporting events
(1) A person must not, without permission, organise or hold any sporting event on the designated land.
Your written confirmation must be held by you for the duration of your event or activity.
