The winner has been announced for the Wildflowers in Focus photography competition.

Winning photographClick for slideshowCongratulations to all our finalists and winner Chris Tate for his wonderful image of a sugar ant on Drosera porrecta, a native plant to south-west Western Australia.

Chris is the winner of an indulgent, three night group stay, valued at $5400, at the exclusive Stonebarn lodge thanks to The West Australian, Kings Park Festival and Australia’s South West.

Many Perth locals took advantage of the Wildflowers in Focus photography tips provided by travel editor and photographer, Stephen Scourfield from The West Australian.

We received almost 500 entries with tough competition for the best images.
