Alcohol
Kings Park and Botanic Garden is an open public space so you must get written permission from the Botanic Gardens and Parks Authority to consume any alcohol in the park.
Organisers booking a function are required to obtain a permit from Kings Park and Botanic Gardens if alcohol is going to be consumed. This is regardless of whether it is supplied by the organisers or guests bring their own.
Large, catered and/or corporate functions may require additional licenses from the Department of Racing, Gaming and Liquor. It is the organiser’s responsibility to ensure that they or their caterers have the relevant licence/s prior to the event.
