Every five years, the Botanic Gardens and Parks Authority (BGPA) must review plans for the management of all lands for which it is responsible. This is prescribed in Part 4 of the Botanic Gardens and Parks Authority Act 1998 and includes a compulsory two-month public comment period on the draft planning document prior to approval of the final plan by the Minister for the Environment.
Kings Park and Botanic Garden
The Kings Park Management Plan 2009 - 2014 was approved by the Hon. Donna Farragher, Minister for the Environment; Youth in September 2009. The plan builds upon previous documents and achievements to identify priorities for the 2009-2014 period.
Bold Park
The Bold Park Management Plan 2011–2016 was approved and endorsed by the Hon. Bill Marmion MLC, Minister for Environment; Water in August 2011. The plan builds upon previous documents and past achievements to identify priorities for the next five year period.
