Botanic Gardens and Parks Authority Act 1998

The proclamation of the Botanic Gardens and Parks Authority Act 1998 in 1999 dissolved the Kings Park Board and established the Botanic Gardens and Park Authority (BGPA) and it's Board of Management to control and manage King's Park and other land (currently Bold Park).

Botanic Gardens and Parks Authority Regulations 1999

The Botanic Gardens and Parks Authority Regulations 1999 cover a wide range of issues to protect managed lands (Kings Park and Botanic Garden and Bold Park).

The Authority may be required to issue infringements for breaches to the regulations and penalties may apply. Common issues include illegal parking, speeding, littering, damage to plants or wildlife, and uncontrolled pet activity.
