This popular playground for families with young children has been extensively refurbished with funding support from Lotterywest through the Friends of Kings Park.
Play areas within the Ivey Watson Playground have been upgraded and are specifically targeted for children aged under six. New play elements, designed to cater for families and older children, have been installed on Hale Oval such as the very popular 'space net'. Hale Oval has been continuously used as a playground and sporting ground since 1897.
Please note that barbecues cannot be reserved as part of your pavilion booking. They are available for all park users.
