These are the Terms and Conditions for the 2012 Kings Park Festival 'Festival favourites' Competition.

  1. Competition entries must be submitted to This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it by 5.00 pm (WST) on Monday 15 October 2012. General visitor feedback and/or entries submitted by post or in person will not be eligible to enter the competition.

  2. Competition entries must be 25 words or less. Any entries over this word limit will not be considered.

  3. Employees of the Botanic Gardens and Parks Authority (BGPA) and their immediate family members are not eligible to win.

  4. The prize will be drawn using an automated database draw and announced on Tuesday 23 October 2012.

  5. The Botanic Gardens and Parks Authority shall not be liable for any loss or damage whatsoever suffered (including, but not limited to, indirect or consequential loss) or personal injury suffered or sustained in connection with either participation or with any prizes offered.

  6. The winner is responsible for all other expenses incurred during travel to and from the prize location.

  7. If the winner is under 18 years of age, the prize will need to be claimed by their parent or legal guardian.

  8. The winner will be notified via email using the details provided in the competition entry. The winner is determined through a random, automated process. Decisions are final and no further correspondence will be entered into.

  9. If the prize winner fails to make direct contact with the Botanic Gardens and Parks Authority to claim their prize within 72 hours, then they forfeit their claim and the Authority reserves the right to draw another winner.

  10. The winner of the 'Festival favourites' competition agrees to have their name published on the Botanic Gardens and Parks Authority website and in the BGPA Newsletter.

  11. The Botanic Gardens and Parks Authority reserves the right to amend the Terms and Conditions and if we do so, we will publish the amended version on this website.

Prize details

Australia's South West Prize

Beachlands Holiday Park Family Getaway, Busselton

  • Prize includes a voucher for two nights accommodation for up to five people in a Luxury Spa Villa at Beachlands Holiday Park in Busselton.

  • Winner must be able to collect the prize from the Botanic Gardens and Parks Authority.

  • Accommodation voucher is valid until 30 September 2013. Bookings are essential and we recommend booking well in advance to ensure availability. Voucher must be presented on arrival.

  • Prize winners are responsible for any other costs associated with the prize, including the travel to Busselton.

  • Prize is not redeemable for cash and is subject to availability. This prize is not valid on long weekends or school holidays.

  • This prize is valued at $550.
