Website accessibility

E-mailPrint

The Disability Services Act 1993 aims to ensure that online information and services are accessible by people with disabilities.

This website has been designed to meet Australian Government standards, including those that relate to access for people with disabilities.

The Botanic Gardens and Parks Authority recognises that achieving a truly accessible service is a continuing journey for all websites. We regularly review the website and encourage feedback on ways to improve the design and content that ensures an effective end user experience for all.

This website is optimised and best viewed at a screen resolution of 1024 x 768 pixels, however every attempt has been made to allow the site to be viewed at various resolutions and by various web browsers.

In addition to top and left-hand navigation, a search engine in the top right header will help you find the information you are looking for. All menu items can be navigated using the tab key if you do not have access to a mouse.

For people with sight difficulties, you may choose to increase the font size using the buttons on the top of each page.

For those not fluent in English language, a Google translator bar has been included on this website in the bottom right footer for your convenience. The Botanic Gardens and Parks Authority takes no responsibility for any misunderstandings or misinterpretations that result from providing this service.

To view the PDF files available for download on this website you may require Adobe Acrobat Reader which you can download for free via the adobe website.

If there is information that you require and it is in a format you cannot access, or if you experience any other accessibility difficulties, please contact us.
