Friends of Kings Park Native Plant Sale
Visitors can choose from a huge range of native plants on sale, cultivated and grown by volunteers from the Friends of Kings Park, including rare species not often found in commercial nurseries. Native plants will be on sale for three days during the Kings Park Festival.
Enthusiastic gardeners will find an interesting range of banksias, grevilleas, triggerplants, small mallee eucalypts, verticordias and more. Also available will be rare species not often found in commercial nurseries. A list of the plant species on sale will be posted on the Friends of Kings Park website prior to each sale.
All plants on sale are grown from cuttings collected in the Kings Park Nursery or the Botanic Garden, or from seeds collected from plants grown in Kings Park or from commercial Western Australian seed suppliers.
Advice on planting and looking after your plants by the Kings Park Volunteer Master Gardeners will also be available.
All funds raised from the Plant Sale go directly towards supporting research and special projects at Kings Park and Botanic Garden.
