This is an environmental discovery and learning facility. There are important conditions of entry for all visitors.

Adults required

All children must be supervised by an adult at all times.

Stay safe

Sharp sticks, rocks, water, snakes and spiders are all a natural part of our environment. Please look after each other. Anti-social behaviour will not be tolerated.

Take rubbish with you

There are no bins. Food scraps and other rubbish are junk food for wildlife so please take your rubbish home.

No immersion in the water bodies

The water in the creeks, rock pools and waterways is not suitable for swimming, immersion, drinking or ingesting in any way. Please do not allow children who are not toilet trained to enter the water with or without nappies on.

Please do not throw rocks

Rock throwing, or any dangerous behaviour, is not permitted.

No bikes, scooters, skates, skateboards or ball games

Bike racks are located outside the entrance to Rio Tinto Naturescape Kings Park. Enjoy the many cycle paths in other areas of Kings Park. Large picnics, ball games and these kinds of activities are best suited elsewhere in Kings Park, such as the Lotterywest Family Area or Synergy Parkland areas.

No pets

Pets + wildlife = big trouble!

No smoking or alcohol

Penalities apply.

No shade tents or portable shelters

Please do not bring tents, shelters or beach umbrellas. Natural shade is available on site.

Groups must book

Sorry, no booking = no entry.
School groups can book by contacting the BGPA Education Coordinator.

Emergencies

Don't panic. Phone 000 for fire and emergencies. Listen for instructions. A first aid post is located on site. Staff and volunteers are always available to help you.
