Kambarang season festival
A seasonal celebration of local Aboriginal culture. In October-November the rains fade away and the days get warmer. Abundant wildflowers provide food for insects and animals. Snakes and lizards emerge from hibernation and the orange blossom of the moodja (Christmas tree) is vivid through the bush.
