White cheeked honeyeaterFree guided walks in Bold Park provide a unique bushland experience. The seasonal walks program showcase a stunning array of native plants and animals. They bring to life the park’s fascinating biodiversity, geology, turbulent history and current conservation projects.

Walks during October will focus on Bold Park’s amazing wildflowers and explore some of their unique adaptations for survival. Discover just how native plants cope with searing heat, low rainfall and nutrient poor soils and still manage to flourish.

What to bring

Please wear a hat, sturdy shoes, sunscreen and bring drinking water.

Notes

Meeting location at Western Australian Ecology Centre, Perry Lakes Drive, Floreat.

This walk requires a moderate level of fitness.

There are no public toilets in Bold Park but there are toilets close by at the playground at the southern end of Perry Lakes Reserve.
