Free Bold Park walk - Fungi foray

Winter is the perfect time for joining a walk and discovering the amazing array of fungi on show in Bold Park. With 479 species identified so far, there are plenty to spot, both high and low, in all their diverse colours and forms.
As nature's own courier system, discover how fungi break down organic matter and recycle nutrients to be used by plants and provide food for insects and wildlife.

|What to bring
Please wear sturdy shoes and come prepared for the weather with a hat, raincoat and drinking water.
Meeting location at Tuart car park, Perry Lakes Drive, Floreat.
This walk requires a moderate level of fitness.
There are no public toilets in Bold Park but there are toilets close by at the playground at the southern end of Perry Lakes Reserve.
