Recent fungi surveys within the Kings Park bushland have led to the identification of 206 species of macrofungi. With a high proportion of previously undocumented fungi being identified each year it is anticipated that many more species are yet to be uncovered. Almost all of the species are considered to be indigenous to the area.

The following reports provide detailed information on recent fungi foray's, conducted in the bushland by local expert Neale Bougher.
