Join the Kings Park Volunteer Master Gardeners

If you are fascinated by Australian native plants, enjoy gardening and have time to give to voluntary activities, why not join the Kings Park Volunteer Master Gardeners?

To become a Kings Park Volunteer Master Gardener, you must complete a three-month training course, held twice-a-week, to expand your horticultural and botanical knowledge and communication skills. These courses are held approximately every two years, with the next course scheduled for 2015. Prospective volunteers are encouraged to contact the Volunteer Coordinator to register interest and discuss other opportunities in the interim.

Arrange a talk from the experts

For a nominal fee, a Kings Park Volunteer Master Gardener can visit your school, aged care facility, or social group for an informal presentation on the beauty, diversity and importance of conserving our native plants.
