Rio Tinto Naturescape Kings Park will be closed from Wednesday 1 February for the Stage 2 development during 2017.
This popular play and education space will be closed to the public until late 2017 to allow for an exciting $3 million upgrade, made possible thanks to our partner Rio Tinto.
We have some absolutely amazing changes planned that will bring even more fun and adventure to this one-of-a-kind place. Expect a larger creek to paddle in, more rocks to scramble over, new elements to climb and an island to explore! There will also be new and improved facilities for school groups to keep you coming back every year.
There are plenty of other great locations in Kings Park that offer things to do for families in Kings Park and Botanic Garden. You can also check our events calendar to see what else is happening this season.
We look forward to welcoming you back to Rio Tinto Naturescape Kings Park during late 2017!
