Law Walk

Law Walk is Kings Park's premier urban bushland trail. It is a 2.5 km loop walk that allows visitors to immerse themselves amongst the many plants and animals that contribute to the limestone heath community in Kings Park.

Named after Robert Oswald Law, Law Walk begins at Rotunda Two and continues along the ridge of the limestone escarpment to Dryandra Lookout, where a loop walk is available and returns visitors to Rotunda Two via the Lotterywest Federation Walkway.

Visitors may be able to observe flocks of birds panning out in flying formation over the Swan River, yachts moored at Matilda Bay, dolphins frolicking, Carnaby's cockatoo feeding on Marri trees or New Holland honeyeaters darting through the Dryandra sessilis parrot bush.

Law Walk takes approximately 45 minutes to complete. There are steep sections, making this walk suitable for people with moderate fitness. Wheelchair/pram access is available on part of Law Walk, from Swan Car Park (off Forrest Drive) and a wheelchair turnaround bay is provided for when the trail becomes steep, just before Dryandra Lookout.
