|
Do not miss this exciting opportunity to obtain rare native plants for your water-wise garden.
The 'Friends of Kings Park' May Plant Sale focuses on bringing a range of native plants to the public not often available from commercial nurseries. Be sure to visit us and take advantage of some great specials. There will be approximately 9,800 native plants for sale, including approximately 400 Grevilleas. There will be an interesting range of small and medium shrubs, small trees, ground covers and climbing plants, with some bargain stock ranging from $1 - $3. Stock is limited so get in early to avoid disappointment. A listing of all plants can be downloaded - either in summary or descriptive form:
Eco bags will also be available for sale on the day for $3. These environmentally friendly bags are ideal to carry your purchases. We are discouraging the use of plastic bags and request that buyers bring cardboard boxes for their purchases. The usual favourites will be available: Darwinias, Grevilleas, Banksias and Lechenaulties, as well as a range of ornamental small mallee eucalyptus and plants suitable for containers and attracting birds to the garden. Once again the plant experts will be on hand to provide advice on how to plant and look after your purchases. As well as making some great savings, you will be supporting a range of worthwhile projects and research in Kings Park. Prices start at a low $1.00 and represent excellent value for outstanding quality plants. For further information please contact the Friends of Kings Park on (08) 9480 3679. |
