Australia Day service interruptions

Kings Park and Botanic Garden will be closed to all vehicles from 6.00 am until 11.00 pm on Australia Day, Saturday, 26 January, in the interest of public safety.

Only pedestrian and cycle access will be permitted in the park during this busy time. ACROD permit holders and confirmed Fraser's Restaurant patrons will be permitted vehicle access through Saw Avenue.

A total fire ban will be in place throughout the day. This means no sparklers or portable barbeques are permitted.

Dogs are not permitted at this event.

Consumption of alcohol will only be permitted between 6.30 pm and 8.45 pm in the designated drinking areas within the Fraser Avenue precinct.

The following services will be unavailable on Australia Day:

Visitors to Bold Park are advised that Reabold Hill and Scenic Drive will be closed to all vehicles on Australia Day, Saturday, 26 January 2013, and will reopen as usual at 6.00 am on Sunday, 27 January.
