Bushland Care

E-mailPrint

Volunteers are needed to assist with bushland care in Kings Park and Bold Park. You can expect to get your hands dirty, work up a sweat and meet some great people.

On-the-job training is provided as you enter the fascinating world of Australian bush restoration and conservation. You will help restore critical areas of bushland and wildlife corridors. A reasonable level of physical fitness is required for these roles.

Kings Park

The Bushland Carers are part of the Friends of Kings Park and consist of two distinct groups:

• Weekend Bushland Carers (Sunday mornings)

• Midweek Bushland Carers (Wednesday mornings)

Volunteers are needed to join our two Bushland Carer groups in Kings Park. Bushland Carers take part in invasive plant removal, pruning, planting and seed collection as part of Kings Park’s bushland restoration plan.
