These dedicated and highly-skilled volunteers promote the use of native plants in all Western Australian gardens.
Volunteer Master Gardeners provide a free advisory service by phone and email for home gardeners and community groups. Their activities include handling public enquiries and researching information. These volunteers are also involved in research, growing and conservation projects in the Park.
To become a Kings Park Volunteer Master Gardener, you must complete a three-month training course, held once-a-week, to expand your horticultural and botanical knowledge and communication skills. These courses are held approximately every two years.
