Would you like to be a Kings Park Volunteer Guide? If you love Kings Park, Western Australia and enjoy meeting people from all around the globe, you may be the person we’re looking for.
Limited spaces are still available to apply for the next Kings Park Volunteer Guides training course in March 2018.
The Guides are an exceptional group of volunteers who staff the Visitor Information Centre in Kings Park and lead three guided walks each day.
Known for their outstanding knowledge of native flora, local history and every inch of Kings Park, the Guides undertake a training course conducted once a week over a 14-week period, and have opportunities for ongoing development in their roles.
Serving the community for more than 30 years, the Guides are considered one of the best volunteering organisations in Perth.
The ideal attributes for this volunteer role are enthusiasm, passion for Kings Park, a reasonable level of physical fitness and an ability to share information in a relaxed and confident manner.
If you are willing to learn and comfortable in speaking in front of people, then please contact the Volunteer Coordinator to arrange an interview.
