It is a great time to support the Friends of Kings Park in Perth's favourite park and benefit with movie nights, special events, plant sales, discounts and more.

Fraser Avenue, Kings ParkCatch a movie under the stars

The Friends of Kings Park are hosting a fundraising movie night at Moonlight Cinema.

Join us on Saturday 3 February at a special screening of 'Three Billboards outside Ebbing, Missouri', which looks set to be an awards-season steamroller. Your ticket purchase will support the Friends of Kings Park.

Pack a picnic dinner or purchase food and drinks on-site and enjoy a delightful summer evening with us under the stars at May Drive Parkland.

All funds raised on the night will go to the Friends of Kings Park to assist directly with projects in Kings Park and Botanic Garden.

Journey to Eden

Join the Friends of Kings Park and Ali Smith for a presentation on the Eden Project on 22 February, 2018. Ali travelled to the UK alongside BGPA staff to help install the permanent exhibit of Western Australian flora in the Mediterranean Biome at the Eden Project.

Ali will give an overview of her three weeks there, and her visits to Eden Project and the Tresco Abbey Garden on the Scilly Isles where Western Australian flora grows in the unique microclimate found on the Island.

Grow a gorgeous garden

Don't miss the the perfect opportunity to get your native garden started with the Friends of Kings Park native plant sale on Sunday 18 March, 2018. Choose from an impressive array of healthy natives, including rare and unusual species not often available at commercial nurseries.

There are thousands of attractive and hardy specimens to choose from - each lovingly grown by the Friends. The full plant list will be available on the Friends' website, and the Kings Park Volunteer Master Gardeners will be on hand on the day to help you pick the perfect plants for your garden. Start your planning and make a list to take with you on the day!

We aim to alert the public to major closures and service interruptions where possible.
