Places are filling fast after an amazing $3 million upgrade to Rio Tinto Naturescape Kings Park in late 2017.

'Homes and Hideaways', Kings Park Education school program Sschool groups are now able to experience all that Kings Park Education and Rio Tinto Naturescape Kings Park have to offer with expanded outdoor classrooms, new shelters and easier access for schools to create a fantastic excursion for your class.

With nearly 30 education programs on offer from kindergarten to tertiary, students will develop their environmental and social science skills, learn about Western Australian heritage and Aboriginal culture; as well as have opportunities to explore the amazing new features in Rio Tinto Naturescape Kings Park.

Free teacher induction sessions are being held each month to provide essential preparation for school visits.

Concert traffic interruptions

Road and carpark closures will occur in Kings Park and Botanic Garden until April 2018 due to concert events.

Earth Hour 2018

All lights in Kings Park and Botanic Garden not directly related to a concert performance, public safety and security will be turned off during Earth Hour, which begins at 8.30 pm on Saturday, 24 March 2018.

For the little nature lovers aged three - five years we have a brand new 'Zippy Dragonfly's Kings Park Adventures' community program with family friendly fun in the beautiful surrounds of Rio Tinto Naturescape Kings Park.
