We’re excited to announce the release of three new Kings Park story books for children which are now available exclusively online and in-store at Aspects of Kings Park.

'Squiggle and Squirm' children's book cover'Singing in the Rain' , 'Squiggle and Squirm' and 'Tummy Troubles' share the unique tales of some of the plants and animals that call Kings Park home. Kids will be enthralled by characters including Pobblebonk the Frog, Jelly Belly the Earthworm and Mother Wood Duck as they adventure through some of Kings Park’s most popular locations.   

Designed to be read with parents or carers, the books are most suitable for children under six and include gentle messages about the environment and conservation designed to help kids learn to love their local environment and advocate for it in the future.

The purchase of these special story books from Aspects of Kings Park will directly benefit projects and conservation activities in Kings Park and Botanic Garden.

Kings Park visitor disruption: cycling trials

Visitor disruptions will occur on Lovekin Drive, Kings Park on select days between Tuesday 17 November 2020 and Tuesday 19 January 2021 due to cycling time trials.

Farewell and thank you Grady and Lesley

The Botanic Gardens and Parks Authority (BGPA) would like to extend a sincere thank you and farewell to two of our longest serving staff members, Lesley Hammersley and Grady Brand who will retire from the Authority in December 2020.
