The countdown is on to the biggest celebration of wildflowers in WA - Kings Park Festival! Running throughout September, the Festival will celebrate the amazing flora of Western Australia blossoming across the State and the thousands of wildflowers in full bloom in Kings Park and Bold Park.

The Festival is packed with workshops, live music, art exhibitions, walks, talks, demonstrations, science seminars and wellness activities to enjoy.

Everyone can enjoy the kaleidoscope of colour and learn more about our spectacular local flora, with many of the events free or low cost. The program is packed to the brim with more than 100 events brought to you by Kings Park and its commercial partners.

Discover the stories of Kings Park and Bold Park and their beautiful flora with a wide variety of themed guided walks. Get hands-on with workshops and learn how to create the native garden of your dreams from Kings Park expert horticulturalists, and make sure to check out the rare and unusual plants at the Friends of Kings Park Native Plant Sale.

Feeling arty? Meet local artists at Aspects of Kings Park, be wowed by the Floral Regalia 2.0 community art project and admire magnicent floral installations. Reconnect with you through Tai Chi, Forest Therapy, yoga and meditation, and let stress melt away in Kings Park’s beautiful surrounds.

Or bring a picnic and relax in the park while enjoying the talents of local musicians. There is something for everyone this September as Perth gets wild about wildflowers.

Bold Park disruption

Banksia Carpark in Bold Park is currently closed to the public due to stormwater damage.

Works at Mount Eliza Reservoir

The Water Corporation will be conducting upgrade works to the Mount Eliza Reservoir inlet in Kings Park from mid-June.
