The strategic direction of the Botanic Gardens and Parks Authority is underpinned by the Botanic Gardens and Parks Authority Act 1998. Memorials Policy
The Authority manages lands with a significant number of important state and public memorials, such as the iconic Kings Park and Botanic Garden State War Memorial.

Bequests Policy
The Authority sincerely appreciates all offers of assistance in the form of gifts, donations and bequests, and gives due consideration to all offers.

New Businesses and Events
The purpose of this policy is to provide guidelines for the Botanic Gardens and Parks Authority when considering an idea or proposal from a proponent for a major new event, new infrastructure, new business, product placement and/or other related concepts.

Public Comment
Periodically, the Botanic Gardens and Parks Authority releases documents for public review and comment in accordance with the Botanic Gardens and Parks Authority Act 1998.
