Mellen Events and Roundhouse Entertainment are proud to announce seminal Scottish band Simple Minds will be returning to Australia in December 2021 for their 40 Years of Hits Tour.
This tour celebrates 'Simple Minds' 40: The Best Of – 1979-2019', a 40-song collection that marks the band’s 40th anniversary. The compilation features a new song, a cover of 'For One Night Only' by Scottish singer-songwriter King Creosote.
Simple Minds will be joined by very special guests, UK electronic pioneers Orchestral Manoeuvres in the Dark, who will be touring Australia for the first time since 1987, as well as Aussie chart-toppers Eurogliders for this very special night of music at the picturesque Kings Park & Botanic Garden. This is a tour not to miss!

Note: times are subject to change.
Ticketholders are encouraged to hold onto their tickets; all tickets will be valid for the rescheduled date – no need to do anything, just hold on to your tickets. Tickets will be on a print delay until 31 August 2021.
Patrons who are unable to attend the rescheduled show are entitled to a full refund.

All patrons (including minors/babies) must have a valid ticket for entry.
Please note Companion Cards can only be used when purchasing General Admission tickets.
Admission tickets are split into three categories, Deck Reserved Seat, Grass Reserved Seat and General Admission (no reserved seat).
General Admission patrons can bring low to the ground beach chairs or picnic rugs if desired.
Standard/high back deck style chairs are permitted into the General Admission area however these will be positioned at the rear of the venue.
A seating area is provided for those with wheelchair requirements.

Strictly no BYO alcohol. This is a fully licensed event.
No tables or umbrellas, professional SLR cameras, video or recording equipment, metal cutlery, wine spikes, tents or sun shelters.
The Western Australian Botanic Garden is a non-smoking venue and no glass items will be permitted.
This is a licensed event. Photo ID required for entry. All patrons (including minors/babies) must have a valid ticket for entry.
Children under 18 years of age who have purchased a ticket will only be permitted into the concert site if they are accompanied by their parent or legal guardian. If a minor is not accompanied by their parent or legal guardian they will be refused entry to the concert and they will not receive a refund on their ticket.
Available for purchase at the venue or you may bring you own picnic hamper.

Conditions of Entry
All bags are subject to a safety and security search upon entry.

Located just 1.5 km from the CBD, Kings Park and Botanic Garden is readily accessible by public transport.

Taxis and rideshare vehicles will only be permitted to collect patrons in Wadjuk Carpark near Fraser's Restaurant.
Access and Parking
Please ensure you park safely and legally along May and Lovekin Drives. Leave adequate time to get to the concert site as you may need to park and walk. Please refer to the concert map to plan your journey.
A drop-off zone is available at the venue entrance, however the pick-up area, following the concert, is located in Forrest Carpark. ACROD Parking is located on Forrest Drive near the DNA Tower.
There is ample parking on the verge along the drives. Concert patrons who park along May Drive are asked to exit Kings Park via Fraser Avenue and Saw Avenue, while concert patrons parked on Lovekin Drive can only exit westbound via Poole and Saw Avenues.
