Awaken your senses, exploring the beauty, texture and sounds of the WA Botanic Garden in Kings Park.

Come along and wander among the wildflowers, breathe in the aromatic scent of camphor, peppermint, eucalyptus and peppercorn. It’s yours to discover.

Join us as we explore the wonders of the gardens. Preference given to people with vision impairment.

Prepare for your walk

  • Wear sturdy, closed-in shoes and come dressed for the weather with a hat, jacket, sunscreen and drinking water.
  • This walk requires a minimal level of fitness and is suitable for wheelchairs, walking aids and prams.
  • Toilet facilities and parking are available nearby.
  • Our events go ahead in rain or shine, however, walks may be cancelled in extreme weather conditions. Refer to the notices section for current closures and service interruptions.
  • People with a disability are encouraged to contact us to ensure we meet your needs for this event.
  • Social distancing may be required and if you are feeling unwell please postpone your visit to a future event.

Naturescape summer opening hours

Rio Tinto Naturescape Kings Park will be open between 8.30 am - 12.30 pm, Tuesdays - Sundays between 29 December 2021 – 30 January 2022 in response to warming Perth summers and an increased frequency of very high fire danger days.

Works at Mount Eliza Reservoir

The Water Corporation will be conducting upgrade works to the Mount Eliza Reservoir inlet in Kings Park from mid-June.

Concert traffic interruptions

Road and carpark closures will occur in Kings Park and Botanic Garden on 11 December 2021 due to a concert event.
