Frontline Corrective Services staff and those who work behind the scenes in the supervision and rehabilitation of offenders will be honoured on National Corrections Day with the lighting of the Fraser Avenue Uplights.

Directly or indirectly on a typical day, Corrective Services staff contribute to the management of around 6600 adults in custody and 5800 adults in the community as well as about 100 young people in detention and some 1000 young people in the community.
